Oh, Oregon

In August we made the trip to Oregon and Washington to visit our family. Despite the fact that I do love to tease Dakota about the weather up there . . I will readily admit that I love the place. How can I not - the sweetest family is there, beautiful landscapes, amazing parents, blackberries, fine music, good friends and lots of fun to be had by all. I love paddle boating - especially when I can have my niece Peyton come along!
Wow, Dakota!
Really, I can't hold up to the incredible musical talent found in this family. But I've decided to give it a try!
And the best part of the trip . . .family.

Looks like fun...now come see us next! Good luck with the guitar; if Dakota is teaching you, then you are in good hands. His talent was quite the crowd pleaser with the ladies back in college!

Oh how fun. I loved visiting Washington last August with my girls. It was so green as is Oregon. That must have been so much fun to sit around and listen the music styl'ns of the Dunne family. I remember Dakota telling me family music stories. Wish I were a fly on the wall for that. :) What fun!

So, Charlotte, ... are you practicing our duets? I have great confidence in you! You picked up those songs, "Mr. Dunne," and "The Blue Waltz" (about the lake), really quickly and very well. I'm excited to jam with you more soon! Next we'll teach you, "The Skeeter Duel" and add a minor chord (Am chord) to your repertoire in the key of C. Love, Dad

That's a hot picture of Dakota on the wakeboard. I'm collecting some great family water sport pictures from the lake for the cabin. This one definitely qualifies. I use the one you took of me for my IM on the office network. The real me! Thank you! Love, Dad
